Adobe Live Cycle Designer version for SAP GUI 730

Hi All,

 

Please let me know the most adaptable version of Adobe Live Cycle Designer which I can use for SAP GUI 730 Patch 5 and I understand that there can be challenges in using the latest version Adobe Live Cycle Designer 11.0 with SAP GUI 730 and do we have a place in SAP where we check the product matrix along with the version compatibility.

 

I would also like to know if version compatibility of Adobe Live Cycle Designer is only limited to SAP GUI or does it have any bearing on the backend ECC or the Internet explorer for example ... please let me know.

Help needed in Adobeform to create multiple forms

Hi experts,

 

As per business requirement I have to develop Adobe form which consists several forms and should get printed together.

 

3 Forms:

1. PO Form => It has addresses, Line item details & Terms & conditions => One Master Page & One Body page fulfill the requirement

2. Packing slip Form => It has different addresses, Line item details => This layout is entirely different from PO form. => One master page & One Body page required.

3. Sign Off Form => It has different layout from the above 2 layouts. => It has no line items => One master page can be used to fulfill this form requirement.

 

Scenario:

When PO saved:

A.Based on some conditions, We have to print all 3 forms Including Purchase Order(PO) form.

B.For some conditions, we need to print only PO form. => Only One PO Form.

C.For some conditions, we need to print Form 1 & Form 3. & etc..

 

 

For this,

I have to create One adobe form and include all these 3 layouts in it? If so, how to proceed?

I have created PO Form using One Master page & design page.

But when i create other Master page, I am not able to find option to create corresponding body page..

 

Could you please help me how to proceed/how to fulfill this requirement...

Unable to identify the numericals

Dear Experts,

 

I have created an Adobe Form and we are testing the output in a Dot Matrix Printer(EPSON).

 

I have set the Font as Arial and Size as 10. But when I print the page in the Pre-Printed form from dot matrix printer, am not able to see the exact characters.

 

For eg: If the amount value is 138.01, I can see only '1' as clear and rest of the numericals are unable to identify, as whether '3' is 6 or 8 or 0.

 

I have tested the same in different dot matrix printer and results are same. Do I need tot ake care of some more settings??Please help me experts.

Include Image as standard text in Adobe form

Hello All,

 

I am having a image as standard text.

Is it possible to use the same standard text in adobe form for displaying the image.


I know how to include image which is in SE78  in Adobe form.

But now i need to include image saved as standard text need to be include in Adobe form.

 

Please suggest if any procedure exist for this.

Adobe LiveCycle Designer error: Cannot find ".\FDP_EF_PURCHASE_ORDER_SRV_ER9_20150723_182119.xsd". Check that the path is correct.

I'm trying to open MM_PUR_PURCHASE_ORDER.XDP (the layout downloaded from SAP) with Adobe LiveCycle Designer externally (meaning through my laptop and not SAP).  I receive the following error:  Cannot find ".\FDP_EF_PURCHASE_ORDER_SRV_ER9_20150723_182119.xsd". Check that the path is correct.

We are on S4/HANA 1511, SAP Gui 7.40, and the latest LiveCycle Designer has been installed.  One of my colleagues with the same set up is able to open the form without any problems.  I have examined the following posts that mention a similar issue but the solutions are not clear:  https://scn.sap.com/thread/3265833, https://scn.sap.com/thread/3358618.

Digital signature on Adobe forms

Hi All,

 

I have done some research regarding Adobe signatures but I am not arriving at desired conclusion. Request your help.

 

 

Requirement: Client currently signs PDF forms using dongle provided by third party services like E-Mudra. At the time of signing the PDF, client needs to enter pin code. Only on entering the correct pin code, the PDF gets signed.  Can this be accomplished in SAP ? I need to get the Adobe forms signed automatically from SAP using the same signature.

 

 

From what I know, following will be the process for digitally signing Adobe forms. Please confirm.

 

 

1. Get the license for Adobe Interactive forms ( mandatory ) as the signature field is interactive one.

2. Upload digital signature in system

3. ADS should be activate

4. Apply logic, similar to program FP_PDF_TEST_07 i.e. like below

 

 

     *   create PDF Object
     l_pdfobj = l_fp->create_pdf_object( connection = p_dest ).

*   set document
     call method l_pdfobj->set_document


*   set signature
     call method l_pdfobj->set_signature
       exporting
         keyname     = s_key
         fieldname   = s_field
         reason      = s_reason
         location    = s_loc
         contactinfo = s_cinfo.

*   execute, call ADS
     call method l_pdfobj->execute( ).

*   get result -> l_out
     call method l_pdfobj->get_document
       importing
         pdfdata = l_out.

5. This will create desired PDF document.

 

 

However, I am not sure on below:


1. Is Adobe interactive license mandatory?

2. Where to upload digital signature ( Desktop or SAP Application server )

3. Is the keyname, which is passed in l_pdfobj->set_signature, an encoded key? If yes, how can it be obtained?

4. Is there any additional scripting required or is normal ABAP coding sufficient?

5. The above process is sufficient or is any additional work required?

6. As client is entering pin code to digitally sign the document, nobody else can sign the document even if dongle is available with the person ( as pin code is not known ). Can this be covered in SAP? As per my understanding, client will have to continue with the current process.

Adobe form data overflow

Guys, I want to truncate the text that overflows from a positioned subform. How do I do this. Currently the overflowing text overlaps with the next subform contents. I don't want this to happen. Any text that overflows should be truncated. Is there a way to do this?

Hi All,

 

My requirement is to truncate the text which goes beyond the height of the positioned subform. How do I achieve this. Please help.

Attached is the screen shot of the overflowing text which needs to be truncated.

Please be informed that the parent subform is positioned. This child subform is flowed to which the Notes (as seen in the screenshot) is passed as an internal table.

Adobe forms language translation issue.

Hi All,

 

I have to adobe form, master pages are designed in Ukraine language. If i change anything on the master page for Ukraine language, then 2-3 standard texts come in English language for all countries.

 

Even for Ukraine language also the standard texts come in English.

Display data which is similar to a time table

Dear Experts,

 

I have a requirement where I have to display data similar to a time - table. The table contains fixed columns as Sunday(date) Monday(date) ... Saturday(date). Now I have fetched all my data into one internal table via., the interface. I should display the line item entries corresponding to the column's date and day.

 

I can hard-code only column header with days but how can I fill in dates dynamically in header row ? and once I do this I have to fill the line items for each cell based on date and day.

 

For Example:

Wednesday

Item Name: Item 1

I have one internal table which contains the date, days, and all the values such as item name, description etc. How can I achieve this ? Please help me out.

Calling ADS running on SolMan 7.1 from NW 7.5

Hi,

 

We have configured the ADS delivered with SolMan 7.1 SP12 - that is Netweaver 7.0 - to run successfully from within SolMan. Test run with report FP_TEST_00 is ok, gives me the doc with multiple lines. Same report runs ok from ERP 6.0 EHP7 (NW 7.4).

But running from ERP 6.0 EHP8 SPS03 (NW 7.5) brings error "Unable to load form for language vector E. Message no. FPRUNX050"

 

Error message FPRUNX050 says there is a configuration error in ADS. But because the test report runs on two different systems well, what is the configuration error?

Are there any limitations to host the ADS on a lower NW release?

Subforms doesn't repeat in Forms

Hello everyone!
I have one big problem in my form in  layout.
I create  hierarchy:

Capture.JPG

And i need that "SubHeader" and "SubHeader1" repeated.But on the second page header is initial (only have "TableForm" with content), and it appears in third page without my "TableForm".

Maybe problem with "repeat subform  for each data item". Pls help to end with this

How do we achieve location wise total and also how do we display

XFA.resolveNode method returns unknown value as “[object XFAObject]”

Dear All,

 

In our system, recently Adobe has upgraded from Adobe Reader to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. While testing one of the SAP Interactive Adobe forms, the below JavaScript code is returning unknown value as “[object XFAObject]” where as in previous version of Adobe it’s giving correct value. Please suggest on this below XFA.resolveNode method.

 

// Total Path "FORM_DATA.#subform[0].ZMM_MATCHANGE_STR03."

Hiding field in master page

Hello Team,

 

In a master page i am having a sub form with 5 lines(5 fields) to display the customer address.

 

My requirement is to hide 2nd and 3rd lines if there is no data and the 4th line needs to occupy 2nd line space without gap .

 

1. Sub form is in flowed layout

2. I have written form calci code in form ready, Client side

3. Also tried writing form calci code Layout ready, Client side


Code:        

if ( not HasValue($)) then

     $.presence = "hidden"

endif


But i couldn't achieve the requirement.

 

Please let me know how i can solve this issue?

Adobe Form DATA VIEW Issue

Hi Experts,

I am trying to create a static adobe form by following a step-by-step tutorial.The steps I have followed are:

 

1. Added just one field VBELN in Interface->import

2. Created a form by using that interface and included that field in the context .

3. Activated the form and went to the layout of the form where VBELN should display in DATAVIEW right but not getting.

I am using Adobe designer 11. Is there any initial setup.

 

What could possibly be the reason for it.Please guide me.

Adobe form - Add reference object

I have an adobe form which has been migrated from smartforms. (via XML - I really don't know how this works)

 

Now, I want to add a reference object (subform) which I will use as overflow leader.

 

I have looked everywhere but I cannot find how to add it.

 

Can anyone help me please?

hello folks,

 

i have client requiremnt to modify std Adobe forms.Mainly working on SDBIL_CI_STANDARD_US(Billing document) & MM_PUR_PURCHASE_ORDER (PO) for HANA environment. these forms are xml schema driven, i'm strugling to figure out to add fields,modify existing layout,change logo in it. have created Z copy of above forms.

from SAP help:

"This interface is an XML schema, which must be constructed in accordance with the W3C standard. You create the XML schema as a local XSD-type file, in an appropriate editor on your front end. You cannot edit it within Form Builder"

 

i created webdynpro view for this and attached sfp form name to it, i could open the form designer through WD but can't see the runtime data structure from XML.anything missing here?

 

not sure how to modify these sfp forms. is there any other approach to deal with this. Please share your valuable inputs.

kindly provide steps to change this forms. i have modified order confirmation form which was abap dictionary based not not sure about xml forms.

SAP WDJ - Adobe Interactive Form Issue

Hello Experts,


We have an Adobe interactive form in WebDynpro Java application. When a user submits the form, We are storing entire form in a KM repository. We are migrating portals from 7.01 to 7.40. After the migration, all user entries which are not mapped to context attributes is lost when uploaded to KM repository. Only entries which are mapped to context attributes is retained.


Values exist at the time of submitting action. Has anyone had the similar issue? Your response is much appreciated.
